Refurbished Seremban Prima Enjoys 70 Pct Take Up Rate

SEREMBAN, May 5 (Bernama) -- Seremban Prima, formerly known as Seremban Parade, which was refurbished at a cost of RM20 million, has garnered a take up rate of 70 per cent for its retail space, says Lion Seremban Parade Sdn Bhd Director Teh Kwee Hwa.
He said the company was optimistic the occupancy rate would reach 80 per cent by year-end.

With Parkson as its anchor tenant occupying three levels, the 17-year old mall has 357,000 square feet of retail space, and houses more than 50 popular retail brands, and other fashion retailers, he said at the opening of the mall by Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.

The six-storey mall is designed to meet the needs of shoppers that are constantly changing and growing, he said, adding that its contemporary fresh interior design allowed ample space for a variety of retail outlets.

"We aim to add more charm to the mall including adding features such as variety dining experiences.

"In addition, Seremban Prima will also be a family activity and recreation centre that provides a range of facilities including a bowling alley, a children's playground, karaoke and a cinema which are all in the future plans," he added.
