LIFESTYLE PARTNER: Tech giant is the official consumer electronics supplier for developer’s projects.

UNITED Malayan Land Bhd (UMLand) has roped in Samsung Malaysia Electronics Sdn Bhd as its exclusive smart lifestyle partner and official supplier for consumer electronic products in its current and future developments.

This is a significant milestone for the company in positioning itself to become the lifestyle developer and provide luxury and quality products in all its projects, said UMLand group chief executive officer Charlie Chia after the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the partnership last week.

“With this MoU, all our current and future developments and also our sales gallery will be equipped with Samsung consumer electronic products. This will surely elevate our developments to the next level,” he added.

During the event, subsidiary UMLand Medini Lakeside Development Sdn Bhd officially opened its new sales gallery in Puteri Harbour.

It showcases the UMCity @ Medini Lakeside project, which comprises business suites, serviced apartments, branded residence, a hotel and a unique neighbourhood mall with food and beverage offerings and conveniences with an expected gross development value of RM1 billion.

Situated at the family entertainment and retail complex of Little Red Cube, the UMCity Galleria will be the first UMLand sales gallery that has received and equipped with Samsung electronic products.

UMCity is part of UMLand’s 12.15ha Medini Lakeside Masterplan, which is situated at the gateway into Medini Iskandar and strategically positioned to be an ideal enclave in this new metropolis.
Medini Lakeside combines vibrant development components with sustainable green concepts.

Positioned as the commercial hub of the Medini Lakeside Masterplan, UMCity is a commercial lakeside development designed for a vibrant community and will feature distinctive qualities expected of a UMLand project to set itself apart from other developments within Medini.

Chia said to date, the UMLand group has a strong foothold in Iskandar Malaysia with projects in three out of the five flagship zones of the regional corridor

Apart from its flagship township Bandar Seri Alam, there are another township called Taman Seri Austin, located within the hotspot of the Tebrau growth corridor, and the recent development of luxurious boutique serviced residences, known as Somerset Puteri Harbour, at the waterfront of the Puteri Harbour marina in Nusajaya.

The company also recently launched a new commercial project featuring a hotel and serviced residences with retail components called Suasana, Iskandar Malaysia, in the heart of the Johor Baru city centre.
