Co-pilot Eugene Choo Jin Leong, 45, who had lived in the gated community the past seven years was described as friendly and never failed to greet his neighbours whenever they met.
Mohd Ridzuan Abdullah who is also Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs Association of Malaysia (Ikhlas) president said the neighbours and Eugene's relatives had gathered at the victim's house as early as 5am after being informed of the crash.
"The last time I saw him was last Saturday. There was a slight change on his face but thought nothing of it," he said when met outside the housing estate as reporters were not allowed into the neighbourhood.
It is learnt that Choo's wife was at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) where most of the victims' family members gathered.
