One Kesas plans integrated project in southern Klang

KLANG: One Kesas, a joint venture development between KM Land Group and Selangor State Economic Development (PKNS), will offer residents here an integrated commercial and entertainment hub, which will be an icon in southern Klang.

Covering a 5.86ha site, the one-stop development will include a mall, hotel and a convention centre and will be completed by mid-2016, KM Land said in an email statement yesterday.

“One Kesas promises a new dimension in business lifestyle that blends with the aesthetic beauty of modern architecture.

“It is an exciting trendy venue for all Klang communities to conduct business activities, complemented by food and beverages and entertainment elements all under one roof,” the company said.

As a strategically-located venue, there is easy accessibility via major highways, such as Kesas Highway (from Kuala Lumpur, Cheras, Subang Jaya, Puchong and Shah Alam), Pulau Indah Highway (from Port Klang) and Jalan Banting (Banting and Klang Town).

The project is at the heartland of up-market developments consisting various integrated townships of more than 40,000 residential and commercial properties.

It is in an area with the most vibrant space in Klang Valley, where there are continuing developments with an expected 100,000 units of properties to come up in the next few years.

Nestled within a matured high- end property development, there is a ready affluent market with estimated 200,000 residents within a five-kilometre radius.

“We are pleased to announce that our group is not only the first property developer to initiate this (integrated commercial and entertainment) concept here, but also the first
to set up the Alfresco dinning concept in Klang.

“One Kesas is indeed well-positioned as an integrated commercial and entertainment hub with food and beverage elements — all conveniently placed at one venue,” said KM Land founder and managing director Kee Lian Yong.

“Klang has no specific place for community get-togethers. Currently, they need to drive to Petaling Jaya or Kuala Lumpur areas for good dining places and shopping venues.

“This is why we have conceptualised the idea of One Kesas as a platform for all Klang communities to come together at one venue as a one-stop destination,” he added.
