SP Setia scouting for more land

GEORGE TOWN: Property developer SP Setia Bhd, whose landbank on Penang island totals 60ha, is looking to acquire more land in the state.

The company’s newly-appointed northern region general manager, Ng Han Seong, said yesterday SP Setia would continue to look for more land on the island and in Seberang Prai.

Its landbank is made up of some 12 parcels mainly on the island’s southern corridor.

Besides Balik Pulau, the pockets of land are also located at Tanjung Bungah and Jelutong.

Ng was speaking after the unveiling of SP Setia’s RM320 million Setia Sky Vista project, which will be located in Relau on the island’s southwest.

The 426 condominium units are priced from RM552,000 each.

The 2.4ha project will comprise twin towers of 27 storeys and 32 storeys, respectively, which will be linked by a sky bridge.
