KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer LBS Bina Group Bhd expects good response for its latest mixed commercial and residential development in Kuantan, which is set to tap the spillover benefits of the town’s economic growth.
“The business landscape in Kuantan is changing with more and more business owners wanting to take a slice of this pie,” said LBS managing director Datuk Seri Lim Hock San recently.
“We expect our latest mixed development project, Sinaran Mahkota, to both serve and benefit from Kuantan’s strong growth and provide a good return on investment,” he added.
Kuantan has seen rapid progress in the past few years to quickly emerge as the economic, transportation and tourism hub in the east coast of Malaysia.
It was identified as the country’s first Special Economic Zone in 2009, and more recently, it has been earmarked by the government as a key area under the East Coast Economic Region.
The establishment of the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park in 2013, which garnered investment commitments worth RM10.5 billion, generating about 8,500 job opportunities, has also boosted Kuantan’s economic activities.
The Komuter Timur service linking Kuala Terengganu to Kemaman and Kuantan, and the East Coast Railway project are both expected to spur further growth in the city.
Sinaran Mahkota is an innovative fusion of commercial and residential spaces. The development’s commercial component is a mixed-use commercial town centre that stands out by introducing a potential street life element reflected in its streetscapes and landscapes.
Phase One of Sinaran Mahkota comprises 121 units of two and three storey shop offices designed in modern Mondrian concept.
Priced from RM567,910, these spacious commercial units, which have a view overlooking a lake, aims to fulfill the retail needs of its residents, particularly families.
Phase Two of Sinaran Mahkota includes proposed serviced apartments that offer a unique and convenient living experience, provide an ideal option for students, given its strategic location which is opposite the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
Lim said Sinaran Mahkota is an excellent investment for home buyers and investors, given its strategic location within Bandar Indera Mahkota, a vibrant, self-contained township with mature residential areas.
